Over the weekend, cartoonish crooner Katy Perry treated fans in Paris, France, to her acoustic cover of Lady Gaga's new anthem "Born This Way." Perry, who once publicly criticized Gaga's heavy use of religious imagery in the music video for "Alejandro," belted out the first verse and a chorus to delighted fans, who can be heard singing along in the video below.
Katy did a pretty solid job with her take—but it would have been even cooler had she figured out some way to throw props to Madonna, too.
